On the 17th October 5.1 and I4.1 students visited l-Aħrax Tower in Mellieħa to learn about the history of the tower. They also visited a permanent interactive exhibition focusing on marine life and flora and fauna of the surrounding environment.
First students had their lunch in a relaxed outdoor environment. Afterwards, they had a story telling session animated by Year 2 teachers. The picnic then ended with a meditation session. 3.1 students were involved in a number of activities to learn about Autumn. They cooked a delicious pumpkin soup and they have also prepared a small cupcake for dessert. Students were also encouraged to incorporate the colours of Autumn when they did a scarecrow and an Autumn wreath.
