With the help of Mr Joseph, the school gardener, the EkoSkola Committee planted different seeds which were given during the EkoSkola FEE Fest. The seeds that were planted were: Myrtle seeds (iż-żerriegħa tal-pjanta tar-Rihan), carob seeds (iż-żerriegħa tal-pjanta tal-ħarrub) and oak seeds (iż-żerriegħa tal-pjanta tal-ballut). Cooking provides wonderful opportunities to help students learn mathematical vocabulary. 5.1 students learnt phrases like ‘more than’ or ‘less than’ than by weighing out ingredients to cook pan cakes. Year 6 students paid a visit to the elderly at Marsaskala Parish Centre on Monday 16th December and spent some of their precious time speaking to them and singing Christmas Carols.
