Year 6 students – Maths Trail

In nice weather conditions, classes 6.1 and 6.3 enjoyed a great and memorable experience when they visited San Anton Gardens. They managed to work out real life problems while they where day. Such problems included reading the clock, measuring distances between trees and estimating how many people can sit on all the benches around the main pond amongst other questions. Group work was enhanced as they were asked to work in pairs for the majority of the Maths Trail. It was so pleasing to see our students enjoying their time in such a lovely atmosphere. One could observe their enthusiasm when they saw different animals which live there such as ducks, and other lovely birds. All in all it was a memorable experience for all students and their teachers.
