A group of migrant learners following a Maltese A1 course within our school went for a cultural outing in the village of Żejtun. These students had the opportunity to observe a traditional Maltese village and go round certain places of interest.
Students from Year 4, 5 and 6 started their outing at the Żejtun Local Council where they were greeted by two members of the council as they explained in detail their operations within the local community.
They were also given a task while going round the main streets of Żejtun to familiarize themselves with this village.
One last interesting visit was at a local pastizzi factory where children saw from close range how local pastizzi are done.
All the students enjoyed this activity and they look forward to have another one in the near future.
