Yesterday it was a celebration day at our school where students from different year groups were given some prizes for their achievements done in the previous year. Many important guests attended this event and gave their speeches for the occasion. Our headmaster Mr E.Fenech as well as college principal Mr G.Psaila gave special prizes to different students.

The event was also attended by Hon Minister Owen Bonnici, Parish Priest Fr Roderick Camilleri, Marsascala Mayor Mr Mario Calleja and other distinguished guests.

It was a well-organised celebration day where all those present for this event saw some good performances done by year 3 and 5 pupils. The Year 3 choir sang two songs acapella called I Hear Thunder and Thunderstorm as well as the famous song Somewhere Under the Rainbow. These group of students were well-prepared by our music teachers Ms K.Cremona and Ms N.Craus.

A famous song from Celine Dion’s repertoire called I’m Alive followed where students from year 5.1 performed this magnificent song wearing some costumes depicting natural resources such as wind, earth and water.  This class was well-prepared by our PE teacher Ms O.Chetcuti and Ms Galea.

All those who attended this event, that was spread over two days, had words of praise for the organisation of this celebration day.
