5.1 students joined a tele-collaborative project named Happy Easter. The other participants were from Poland, Portugal, Romania, Italy and Slovakia and they used English as a Lingua Franca to talk about Easter traditions in their countries and practiced short Easter greetings in other languages.
The aim of the project was to practice English as a foreign language and get to know Easter greetings in other languages. Students also learnt about different cultures.
- Students talked about Easter traditions in their countries and compared them to English-speaking countries
- Students prepared Easter greetings in both English and their native languages and recorded a video.
- The videos were downloaded in Twinspace.
- Students watched all the videos, discussed them and tried to learn Easter greetings in other languages.
- Students filled in a short questionnaire answering YES/NO questions re the project.
- Teachers worked online discussing the issues regarding the project at least three times (at the beginning, after a week and to summarize the cooperation).

The final product was a mix of the videos on the school websites.
