I am Willa Naylor and I make part of the Students’ Council.  Every year during the first term an election is held among students and a student is chosen from every class from Year 4 to Year 6.  In all there are 13 members.

Once the Students’ Council is elected another election takes place among the members to elect the President, the Vice President, the Secretary, the Vice Secretary and the PRO.  The President is Pamela Sammut.  The Vice President is James Borg. I was elected as the  Secretary and Oisin McKinley is the Vice Secretary.  Then we have also a PRO and her name is Jodie Vella.

The aim of the Students’ Council is to plan activities and improve the school to benefit the students.  My role as the secretary is to take notes of what is being said during the meetings which are held once a month.  This is important because my notes help all of us to keep track of our progress.  This also helps us to be organised and focused to achieve our goals.

I feel very proud to be a member of the Students’ Council and to be part of something that can achieve a lot of positive results.
